Ironman 4X4 are very excited to announce the recent release of 4 and 6 inch competition lift kits into the Aussie off-road scene. These great packages suit Toyota LandCruiser 80 and 105 Series live axle models and GQ/GU Patrols. Ironman’s lift kits were originally designed for the overseas market, however since their launch a market has grown for them here in Oz which has excited Kristian Ristell, Ironman 4X4s Suspension Product Manager. Kristian explained that the kit is a fully integrated system designed for the kind of off-road competition where flexibility and articulation are critical to optimum performance. This kit is a technical person’s delight with every part being engineered to work together as one, allowing for maximum articulation while limiting body movement through softer coil spring rates and firmer shock absorber valving. Sway bar extensions and adjustable panhard rods with fine thread allow the vehicle’s suspension geometry to be adjusted precisely. Ironman 4X4 use rubber bushes throughout, promoting a softer, smoother feel to the suspension as it articulates. Each kit comprises coil springs, foam cell shock absorbers, all the bracketry required to fit the kit including caster plates plus longer brake hoses. All metal brackets, the sway bar extensions and the panhard rods are gold zinc plated for corrosion protection while the coils are powder coated. Any competent mechanic can fit this integrated suspension system however some conditions apply. A limited warranty applies to the kits which start at just over $2000.00 which is awesome value when considering the integrated package. Individual components are available, making replacement easy and not too hard on the pocket if damage occurs in a competition. Fuoristrada News |
